2011 Ceremony

2011 Ceremony

This year saw yet another successful line up of worthy winners and an audience which helped them celebrate their achievements. The talent that exists within the North East of England shone through and the evening captured the passion shared by all who attended and sponsored the 2011 ceremony.

Once again, the BME awards have demonstrated the huge contribution minority ethnic groups are making not only to the economy, but also to the social fabric of society. In challenging times, individuals and efforts need to be recognised even more to aspire all sections of the community. Well done to all those who were nominated and of course the people who made this happen.

A special recognition goes to Tees Valley Unlimited whose valuable contribution and support is shared with all the event organisers. See you soon for next year’s ceremony!

Who can be Involved

Anyone and everyone, although as it suggests in the title BME achievement we do not exclude any group or individual.

This event is a response to the lack of programmes and events which do not give BME groups a particular focus. We recognize the provisions within the Equality Act 2010 and will not exclude any group we encourage involvement and nominations from all sections and all sectors which to be part of this unique event.
