Welcome to the website of the Tees Valley BME Achievement Awards

The date has been set …. the first Tees Valley BME Achievement Awards will be celebrated on Friday 17th September 2010.

This prestigious awards ceremony, which will be hosted by the Thistle Hotel in Middlesbrough, will celebrate and recognise the wealth of achievement and talent across our BME Communities in the Tees Valley region.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous ethnic meal, key speeches by eminent dignitaries, spectacular entertainment and most importantly the awards presentations.

In its inaugural year, the awards will capture the multicultural spirit of Tees Valley and will be a fitting celebration to the many talented and committed individuals and groups in Tees Valley, many of whom have made a considerable contribution to the development of skills and provision in the region.

Watch this space as nominations will be opening soon. We encourage everyone to nominate someone who you feel has inspired others and worked exceptionally hard to achieve success.
